Alexandre Filippo, dermatologist
Rio de Janeiro, RJ - Brazil
This is a case report provided by the dermatologist Dr. Alexandre Filippo, from Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The case described is the treatment of ochre dermatitis using the ZYE ALX® platform at 755 nm with the 3-10/VL handpiece.
Ocher dermatitis is an inflammation resulting from venous hypertension, which accumulates hemosiderin in the extravasation of the vessel of the affected region, resulting in an ochre coloration as a result of the combination of yellow with pink and black in a certain proportion. Current treatments include those done with q-switched LASER (ACROMA-QS®, available for the ETHEREA-MX® and ZYE® platforms) and with the ALEXANDRITA LASER at 755 nm (ZYE ALX®).
