This is a treatment report carried out by Stephanie Acuña Arce, from San José, Costa Rica, using the Etherea MX® platform, with ProDeep ® handpiece.

Treatment:

Sagging skin on the inner arms is a common complaint among women and can occur as a result of aging, loss of collagen and elastin, but also due to weight loss or other factors.

A variety of technologies can be used to treat this area (in combination or alone) that go beyond maintaining a routine of physical exercise and a healthy diet. The literature describes the use of injectables, Microfocused Ultrasound, Radiofrequency, Infrared and lasers.

The ProDeep ® handpiece, compatible with ETHEREA-MX® and ZYE® platforms, works with a wavelength of 1340nm – Nd:Yap. It is a non-ablative fractional laser, with little absorption by water and a deep action. This laser stimulates collagen production, helping to improve skin quality, without restriction to phototypes and with little or no downtime.
