A Multi-Modality treatment approach using

IPL-Sq®, ProDeep® and ACROMA-QS®

Dr. Lisa Kellett, dermatologist

Toronto, Ontario, Canada

This is a treatment report carried out by the dermatologist Dr. Lisa Kellett, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, using the Etherea MX® platform, with the IPL-Sq®, ProDeep® and ACROMA-QS® handpieces.

Treatment:
  • The light emitted by IPL-Sq® is attracted by the melanin present in the pigmentary lesions, causing the production of heat (selective photothermolysis) and their consequent removal.

  • ProDeep® 1,340 nm Nd:YAP is a fractional LASER that treats subdermal collagen stimulation without the inconvenient post-treatment effects of non-ablative fractionated LASERs.

  • ACROMA-QS®: Q-SWITCHED LASER with two wavelengths measuring 1064nm and 532nm. This Nd:YAG produces rapid photoacoustic pulses, breaking up the pigments, which will be expelled by the immune system.

  • Conclusion: The combination of the IPL-Sq®, ACROMA-QS® and ProDeep® technologies produces enhanced results in comparison to single treatment modalities, has little downtime and reduces the time in which aesthetic treatment goals are met.
