Treatment:

The use of picosecond technology is currently the most highly regarded treatment for tattoo removal, Melasma and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. By working with extremely short pulses, the picosecond LASER causes the photoacoustic effect when reaching the skin, defragmenting the pigments without heating the tissue.


The picosecond LASER’s pulse time is a thousand times shorter than the nanosecond, the delivery of energy in this ultra-fast pulse time ends up defragmenting the pigments into even smaller particles that are therefore more easily absorbed by the body.


The handPICO®, the world's first and only picosecond handpiece, compatible with the ETHEREA-MX® and ZYE® platforms, operates in picoseconds (530ps) or nanoseconds (2.5ns) and has wavelengths of 1064nm and 532nm. It has several spots, including a micro fractional lens (MLA), allowing the rejuvenation treatment of patients with different skin types, safely and effectively.
